Invalid file catches a multitude of error scenarios

Bug Description
When an invalid file is loaded, an invalid file error message dialog is shown. This is correct. However, there are circumstances (i.e. when a task file from an old version is opened) that whilst they are invalid, warrent a different error message for the user. Currently, all result in the same dialog.
