mmm I see the problem... Could you try to erase your .Skype profile directory and try again?

If you don't fix could you try to change the language in another one like english and tell us if the problem persists?

i also purged all skype installed it again. didnt help. changed lang didnt help

A new skype version (2.2.0.25 beta) is available from partner repository, could you try to reproduce the bug with the latest version and tell us if the problem is still there?

I just fully reinstalled xubuntu on that comp. sorry. cant see exactly on
same system. others work ok.
