Bug Description

I am no longer able to scan pages front and back. Upon startup I am able to scan single pages manually feeding them into the feeder using "single sheet". As soon as I select "All pages from feeder" the first page appears then I receive a popup warning "Failed to scan - Unable to start scan" (Change Scanner) (Cancel). Once the error occurs I am unable to scan anything until I restart simple scan.

This did work before. I do not recall if it coincided with my upgrade to 10.04

Simple-scan.log output attached.
