Bug Description
Binary package hint: kcm-touchpad
Hi !
I was testing the touchpad component of systemsettings on Kubuntu Lucid with KDE SC 4.5rc2. I wanted to increase the sensitivity of the touchpad, so I put the value at half of the slider and applied the changes. This made moving the cursor just impossible, even if I pressed heavily on the touchpad.
I've tested this for different values and it seems to me that there are two issues (I'm not certain) :
1) For the 60% highest values, the cursor is not moving at all. So only the lowest 40% of the slider can be used.
2) But then I also realised that putting the value at the minimum ('low sensitivity') resulted in much higher sensitivity than when the value is at 30%, so it appears I might share the symptoms of this bug for the 40% of the slider I can use : https:/
I can always reproduce this behaviour.
I'm using a SynPS/2 Synaptics TouchPad on an Acer Aspire 5102WLMi laptop.
Systemsettings is from Kubuntu Lucid x86_64 packages with KDE SC 4.5rc2.
Version of kcm-touchpad is 0.3.1-0ubuntu3.
