Bug Description

I found that on some pages, Epiphany crashes. An example of such a page:

http://muse.19inch.net/~daf/jisho/jisho.pl?q=%E5%BA%B7&m=Search

Firefox does not crash on this page.

Epiphany prints this message when it crashes:

/usr/bin/epiphany: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/libcairo.so.2: undefined symbol: FT_GlyphSlot_Embolden

Looking at the libcairo changelogs, I saw a mention of a removed patch the name of which suggests a connection. A bit of Googling turned up the Debian changelog, which mentions a change in libfreetype6. Upgrading libfreetype6 from 2.1.7-2.4ubuntu1 to 2.1.10-1 fixed the problem.

I think recent versions of libcairo2 should tighten their dependency against libfreetype6.

That's a known freetype issue, it has to bump it shlibs, no point to open bugs on the different stuff built with it
