Process list shoud have filter by process name

Gnome process list shoud have filter by process name. For example in Kubuntu system monitor have filter and "kill" button. I can find freez process by name and kill it, without special applet or using console.

I guess this is technically a feature request, not a bug, but I've been annoyed about this for some time. It's a much-needed functionality that would be easy to implement and would perhaps double the program's usefulness.

Are the dev's afraid I'd be 'confused' by such an advanced capability, and that my workflow would be 'simpler' and more 'intuitive' if I'm forced to manually scroll through an enormous list to find what I'm looking for? I still like Gnome/Ubuntu more than the alternatives, but sometimes... >:O

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. The issue that you reported is one that should be reproducible with the live environment of the Desktop CD of the stable release - Oneiric Ocelot. I've tried recreating this bug with your release and was unable to, given the information you've provided. Please upgrade to the latest version and re-test. If the bug is still reproducible, increase the verbosity of the steps to recreate it so we can try again.
