Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox-3.5

I have an hp compaq 6720s laptop dualboot vista/ubuntu karmic koala.
I use firefox 3.6.7 with adblock plus 1.2.1 plugin.
If this plugin is on in certain web page
http://www.eldiariomontanes.es/v/20100725/cantabria/turismo-empieza-frio-verano-20100725.html#opina (i attached pantallazo.png file where the characters are bad shown and pantallazo-1.png where characters are correct shown) the words with accents (or with "ñ") are bad shown because the accents are shown as "?", also the flash buttons forward and backwards don't work.
If I put adblock plus off, then the accents are shown correctly.
I have the characters coded in occidental (iso-8859-1).
This problem has appeared with the new release 1.2.1 of adblock.

Thank you for reporting this to Ubuntu. Thank you for reporting this to Ubuntu. Does this occur with all other extensions disabled except for Ad Block Plus? You could try this with a new profile and see if the problem still exists? You do not need to delete your old profile to test. If this helps, you might want to try to disable all your extensions and re-enable them one by one until you find the problematic one.

You can start the profile manager with the following command with Firefox closed:
firefox -ProfileManager

I only have installed a plugin more: download helper 4.7.4, i have put
it off and only active adblock plus, the problem persists, i see wrong
character "?" instead of accents in letters or "ñ"(in the web page
http://www.eldiariomontanes.es/v/20100725/cantabria/queremos-autovia-20100725.html#opina). If I put off adblock too problem disappear, accented characters, "ñ" and forward and backwards buttons work correctly.
