Bug Description

For a period of 6 hours, Lucid netboot installs were broken, because the kernel installation would use one of the linux-meta packages for kernel installation, but they depended on kernels which were not yet published. This can be seen if you compare the publish time of 2.6.32.24.25 on https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-meta/+publishinghistory to the publish time of 2.6.32-24.38 on https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+publishinghistory

This has already been resolved, in the sense that the dependent packages are now present, but I'd like to make sure something is done to prevent the linux-meta packages being pushed before the kernels they depend on in the future. It breaks netboot installs, and can easily be prevented.

Closing this bug with Won't fix as this kernel / release is no longer supported.
Please feel free to open a new bug report if you're still experiencing this on a newer release (Bionic 18.04.3 / Disco 19.04)
Thanks!
