It appears that the package file was corrupted on download. To fix this, you can try running "sudo rm /var/cache/apt/archives/akonadi-server_1.3.1-0ubuntu3_i386.deb" and re-upgrading.

Changed in akonadi (Ubuntu):
status: New → Invalid
summary: - package akonadi-server (not installed) failed to install/upgrade:
- lectura insuficiente en buffer_copy (error en dpkg-deb durante
- `./usr/sbin/mysqld-akonadi')
+ package akonadi-server (not installed) failed to install/upgrade: short
+ read in buffer_copy (error in dpkg -deb during `. / usr / sbin / mysqld-
+ Akonadi ')

Thank you for your report. This package failure looks like being caused by a corrupted file system.please start the rescue system in the boot menu and select the "File system check" option in the next menu. If the file system corruption is serious, the safest option would be to reinstall your system.
