Back/Forward mouseover'ed button have drawing errors

Bug Description

When the mouse cursor is hovered over the Firefox2 back-button, the rendering of the drop-down makes it look aweful:

I can confirm it David, Edgy 2.0.0.1 and Feisty 2.0.0.1 (iirc), I will assign it to myself and track it's progress.

Confirming on a different theme as well, also it does this on the boxes in firefox preferences. Attaching a screenshot.
I believe the issue is rendering on stock Ubuntu. David, are you using the Fx base install or the one from mozilla?

Can confirm on Fx 1.5 on a XP system. Also, attaching a shot of a rendering problem on Feisty Herd 2, from my above my last screen shot.

Alex, I am still seeing this on 2.0.0.3 and 2.0.0.4 . perhaps this is desired behavior.

to reproduce, just navigate around and bring your mouse to the back or forward key and bring it across the whole button. If you bring it to the small arrow of the button )history drop down menu), it should merge into one button. I think this is desired behavior.

Thank you for taking the time to file this ubg report with us. Closing due to age. If this is still a problem in 3.0.7 please reopen this bug.
Also please reopen with all new information on how to reproduce this bug by giving us step by step instructions.
We also need what happens what is expected to happen.
