Seeing the same error message here (up-to-date Lucid, amd64), before the traceback it prints:
"Updating..."
I can also reproduce the error message if I use dfeet to trigger the getAccount() methode of the com.Gwibber.Service

If I kill the running gwibber-service process, the error message disappears, i.e. I can again start gwibber.
