Unable to kill firefox

Bug Description

Closed firefox. Clicked on link in lefera but got a warning that fiefox was still running. ran sudo killall firefox-bin and the tried to launch firefox. Got the same message that firefox was still running and to close the previous instance of firefox.

After about 10 minutes saw the message that firefox had crashed and was offered the oppurtunity to file this bug report.

Can you please try to reproduce this in the Firefox version 1.99+2.0rc2+dfsg-0ubuntu1?
