Bug Description
Steps to reproduce:
1) Open firefox, go to a random site.
2) Leave the computer for 5 mins until screensaver kicks in.
3) Quit screensaver
4) Try typing on firefox's address bar.
You will notice that firefox does not suggest sites based on the first few letters you type as it usually does.
This is fixed by changing the active window(eg start nautilus and close it again) and then returning focus to firefox.
The bug does not occur when manually locking the pc, the lock has to be initiated by screensaver.

This bug has been bothering me for a while too!
The workaround I had been using was to open the Edit > Preferences and then getting back to the address bar!
I had thought this was because the settings were some how lost. But changing the window focus as you describe also works!
