Thanks for reporting this issue, however it seems to me that this issue is not related to software provided by ubuntu, from the Dependencies.txt I read that you are using some kind of 3rd party software sources

an you please test if you can reproduce your issue with having libgirepository et.al. installed from the official ubuntu ressources.
