Package broken

Binary package hint: kde-i18n-ptbr

It needs language-pack-kde-ptbr but this is not available..

When i try to install:

root@KAHLUA:~# apt-get install kde-i18n-ptbr

I havent installed on kubuntu install because i have no internet online.

I can confirm this bug in version 3.5.4 from kubuntu side-repository.

It doesn't seem to occur in version 3.5.3 in that repo, and definitely not in the main (3.5.2) version. These two versions depend only in language-pack-kde-pt, not -ptbr.

I tried to contact the maintainer directly, but never got an answer.

Surprisingly, I have full support for brazillian portuguese in KDE without this package installed.

Nevertheless, the package is broken and uninstallable.

I subscribed the jriddell to this bug as he is the maintainer of the kde-i18n-ptbr package

The bug is fixed in 3.5.5.

Since these will probably be the same packages for edgy, and dapper official packages (3.5.2) are also safe, I guess the bug can be closed.

In other words, this bug is kubuntu-specific, and for KDE 3.5.4 only, which is now obsoleted by KDE 3.5.5.
