Bug Description

Binary package hint: usplash

Usplash changes to verbose during booting process when "files needed to boot" are loaded.

The first messages I can see are:

"Reading files needed to boot ok" and
"Setting hostname ok".

Afterwards restriced drivers are loaded, basic networking starts, the filesystems are checked and so on. There is no specific error message.

Why doesn´t the splash goes on in silent mode? The progress bar at this point is at 30%...

This was a bug in readahead-list, I forgot to adjust the usplash timeout while it ran -- this is long-since fixed
