Bug Description

I downloaded EdgyEft knot-3 and after the screen to choose 'start or install ubuntu', screen becomes black with only one message at the top:

... MP-BIOS bug : 8254 timer not connected to IO-APIC

My computer is an Acer Aspire 5020 using AMD Turion 64 ML-28 processor, and one ATI Mobility radeon X600, it also have 1.2 GB of ram.

I was using 32 bits edgy eft CD.

Hope you will resolve this bug before the freeze release.

Thanks and kisses
