Bug Description
Binary package hint: ubuntuone-client
HI Ubuntuone Team,
After some tests done with Duane on IRC files were still not properly deleting so it was suggested to log it as a bug.
About a week ago I deleted a bunch of files from a folder on my laptop. Those files did not delete on the web or other machines. After running: "u1sdtool -q; u1sdtool -c" some of the files did delete but not all of them. At this time running that command does not make a diffrence anymore and the files are still present.
Thanks

Hi!
We would need DEBUG logs to find the issue here, and you to retry the delete of some of the files that you were problems deleting.
You should do the following:
1. stop the syncdaemon client ("u1sdtool --quit") and be sure it's fully stopped ("ps -eaf | grep ubuntuone-client" should give you nothing).
2. put a file named syncdaemon.conf in your $HOME/. config/ ubuntuone directory with the following information:
[logging]
level = DEBUG
3. restart the client.
4. wait for it to settle down ("u1sdtool --status" should be in State QUEUE_MANAGER and queues in IDLE).
5. delete one of the files that you tried to delete in the past.
6. wait the client to settle down again.
7. attach here the logs, just zip you $HOME/. cache/ubuntuone /log/ folder and attach the zip here.
Thanks for your time and help!
