"Reply" in kmail downloads attachments

I use Kmail to read mail in an IMAP account.

If an email message has a large attachment (a PDF file, a zip archive or such), Kmail seems to to download just the plain text part of the message from the server when it shows the message preview.

However, when I reply to such a message, Kmail seems to download the entire message, with all attachments; however, it does not seem to use any part of that extra information when it composes a reply.

Thanks for reporting this feature request! Unfortunately, at this time Kubuntu does not have the developer manpower needed to implement and maintain many features at the Kubuntu level. But don't worry! This issue is being tracked by the KDE developers at: http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=80802
Once implemented in KDE, it will be included in Kubuntu once the KDE version the feature is implemented in reaches Kubuntu.
