Bug Description
The page:
https:/
(and for that matter the dput manual page)
could do with adding a note saying that the 'source.changes' is typically generated by debuild.
I was initially confused from the description thinking it was a diff of some type (and then wondered
how it knew which package it was). The PackagingGuide doesn't seem to explicitly say where it
comes from (although now I understand what it is I see the bit where it says debuild will sign one).
Something simple like changing the line:
If you're not sure what this means, you should <familiarise yourself with creating packages for Ubuntu.>
to
The sources.changes is generated by debuild as described in <the Ubuntu packaging guides.>
It's a minor change, but it would have made it clearer to me.
