Touchpad is only recognized as PS/2 Generic Mouse on Dell Latitude E5410

Bug Description

I'am working with Lucid (ubuntu 10.04, 2.6.32-23-generic) on a Dell Latitude E5410

something is worng with psmouse.

Workarounds/Patches described in the wiki for newer Dell and Thinkpad Laptops, do not have any effect. Touchpad is only recognized as PS/2Mouse and do not have any Touchpad funktionality.

I was not sure with some questions. So they might be confusing. i.e. frequenzy and reproduceable. It's a constant state.
