Bug Description

Binary package hint: evolution

When resuming my laptop from standby, evolution preview pane freezes and don't work.
I can open emails in a new window, but preview pane remains with old mail data.

In order to get preview pane working again, I have to run an evolution --force-shutdown from command line and open Evo again.

This is a problem I've experienced in last ubuntu releases, not only Lucid Lynx, but Intrepid, Hardy, Jaunty and Karmic.

I cannot reproduce the issue locally, may you tell us a few easy steps in order to reproduce the problem? what i tried was open evolution suspend/resume and see if that area was accessible and it indeed is. Are you using imap, pop, exchange?

Extra info:
Account type: IMAP4, with SSL enabled. Check all folders enabled.
Address book type: LDAP, not locally cached.

After resuming from standby, it performs a full folder rescan. After this,
preview pane freezes (but not always), specially after opening a unreaded
email.
For if it can give you some clue, LDAP address resolution also stop working.

It appear some some threads get stuck...
