XRandr properly detect screen resolution and refresh rate, but video playback, glxgears in fullscreen mode and dragging windows affected tearing effect. Tested in Lucid and Maverick with GT216M and GeForce 7300 video adapters.
Maybe issue not in driver, but in X-server.
