Bug Description
Mutter version: 2.31.2-
Running on a Asus 1000H w/ Atom N270 1.6Ghz on Lucid via the PPA.
When playing video (using Totem) I'm seeing usage that climbs to 50+%.

I believe this is fixed with the last few weeks of power-usage tuning. The new effects-cache for the panel and launcher should reduce the CPU usage of Unity by a considerable amount compared to before. Due to the way Mutter is painting, I don't believe we can get it much better this cycle, it should be pretty good, though.
Please test and re-open this bug if it's still a major amount of CPU usage, thanks!
