Firefox Bookmarks not Searching

The bookmarks after sometime will not auto search when you type into the address bar. The only solution I have found is to exit and reload firefox.

Very old versions of Ubuntu and Firefox
No activity on report for six years
Cannot reproduce with Ubuntu 18.04 / Firefox 61
