Bug Description
Binary package hint: pyjamas
Hi,
All pyjamas packages has been removed following bug #567819, because pyjamas-desktop indirectly depends on python-xpcom that has been dropped from xulruner 1.9.2.
It was not mandatory to delete all the pyjamas packages, as pyjamas-desktop is not a core dependency of the application and can be deleted from the debian/control file, without impacting the aim of pyjamas (python -> javascript compiler for GWT).
This is what have been done in Maverick, following a discussion on ubuntu-devel mailing list.
Would it be possible to reintegrate pyjamas source and binary in Lucid? Not sure what would be the correct process thought.
Thanks,
Fabrice

Closing main task. I don't think it's that helpful at this point to reinstate the package in lucid, as most users will either have found out how to get it from other sources, or have upgraded to maverick now. However, if this is important to you, please feel free to upload a backport to lucid-proposed.
