Firefox 3.6.6 hangs forever at startup

Binary package hint: firefox

At startup Firefox windows never shows. System monitor show two processes Firefox and Firefox-bin.

http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1521140&page=2 suggest deleting secmod.db in the profile.
But I have to do this every time!!

I'm sorry you had this issue and that no one was able to look at the bug when it was reported. Ubuntu 10.04 Desktop has reached End of Life and will no longer be supported.

If you still have this issue on Ubuntu 12.04, you can report a new bug (suggested) or reopen this case.
