Bug Description
Binary package hint: u-boot-omap3
seemingly not all XM boards boot properly with the current u-boot binary in maverick. proper XM support needs to be added.

is based on the same git tree and checkout and works with XM boards, seemingly there are either compile options or missing additional patches that break it in ubuntu.

the issue was broken hardware, not u-boot related
