the Gtk errors are most likely unrelated.

Hi, thanks. This is the error log, the problem occurs when the user uses the openoffice extension, he can install the extension without problems (it is a new menu option on the toolpanel) but when he clicks an option of new menu, openoffice crash (openoffice restarts and shows this error in terminal).
The extension exists in mac, windows and linux (ubuntu) but only it doesn't work in linux.

two suggestions:

please could you recheck with the openjdk-6 packages in
deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/openjdk/ppa/ubuntu lucid main

do you see the crash too, if you use the OpenOffice.org build as distributed by Ubuntu?

Hi, the openjdk version is updated. I tested the extension but openoffice crashed yet.

I am using the openoffice of Ubuntu and the installation with the deb (download from the openoffice page) but in both cases it crashed.
