Tool panel is too wide in Russian locale

The Russian translation for the word Tools (Инструменты) results in the toolbox not being resizable any narrower than the width of that wide header.

I'm not sure what to do about this. Should I think of a shorter translation?

I have checked "Tools" translation with Google Translate (translate.google.com) and it looks it is correct translation. IMHO I think this should be fixed in Pinta and not changing translation to something suboptimal. Other languages can have the same problem.

No, the interface design should be able to handle long text boxes, so it's not just about Russian, I guess)
There are two ways of solving this:

1. Don't write anything, people are smart enough to figure out that this is "tools" dialog (like in photoshop or gimp).
2. If it doesn't fit -- make it "Инст..." (I think GTK can do that).

The bug remains in the dutch version even after 0.8 (Tools is translated as "Gereedschappen").

Do you still have this problem? For me it’s corrected in 1.0: Spanish translation for “Tools” is “Herramientas” and the string is correctly ellipsized.
