Bug Description

Hi,
I have installed Pinta 0.4 on Ubuntu 10.04 using deb package from Launchpad.
I have clicked on "x" on Layers toolbar by accident and toolbar has hidden.
I have searched how to show it again in View menu where is a standard menu to search for toolbars. Like Firefox 3.6 has View | Toolbars.

I suggest to move Windows | ShowPad from Windows to View menu and rename ShowPad to Toolbars.
Regards

I checked GIMP, and it puts things under Windows. I checked Inkscape, and it puts things under View.

Does the GNOME HIG address this issue?

Yes, GNOME HIG ddresses this issue and it point out to be in View | Toolbar, as I have suggested.

I think Pinta is simple painting tool for average user and should behave like average user expects (View | Toolbar). Gimp is for professional users and can behave little bit different, because professional users are used to multitude of multiple options and so it can be logical to put some of the options in different menus to group them up.
