History auto hiding blocked when clicked

Bug Description
Actual bug:
History is set with the auto hide feature, which works. Then you let it appear, click on a past status, and it doesn't hide any longer (even clicking outside of the history window). This bug probably affects also the Layers window.
(this on windows xp)
How it should be:
Clicking on a past status and then going back to draw on the image should make history hide again.
