Bug Description
Binary package hint: snmpd
Interfaces like pppX and tunX dont get purged if a new connection is made.
If you create a dialup connection, hang up, and create a new dialup connection snmpd will add a new entry for ppp0 for every connection without purging the old ones.
This bug has been dicussed in the Net-snmp-coders mailing list.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Can you try with latest Ubuntu release? Thanks in advance.
