Bug Description

does not help

Hoping the midi file would play

But it does not in Firefox

I can download and play the file with mplayer

Thank you for reporting this to Ubuntu. When I click the link, rather than it playing inside of Firefox I automatically get prompted for what I would like to open the file with (totem by default), which plays the midi file fine for me. Could you please describe the exact behavior you are experiencing for us?

http://www.cyberhymnal.org/mid/r/e/p/repton.mid loads. type: audio/midi 2kb
The "Play" button is green but when I click it, it says stopped and the
green arrow is lit again. It is the embedded player that is broken. I can
download and play the file.
