Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. The error message suggests that the file you downloaded is corrupt (e.g. incomplete) -- could you try downloading it again?
Either way, you can only extract the contents of the archive -- but I assume that you tried to run the iTunes installer, right? This is not possible, it's an installer for Windows, not for a Linux operating system.

that's an installer for windows. not an Ubuntu bug.
