Sync trousers 0.3.5-2 (main) from debian (unstable)

Binary package hint: trousers

Hi,

The version of trouser in ubuntu is quite old, it could be really interesting to merge (or sync) package from debian unstable.

In last release, almost all patches have been merged upstream

It looks like a lot of patches have been dropped (integrated upstream). I think this should actually be a sync request, but I have to experiment with it a bit...

I was able to build this successfully for x86 and armel on Maverick straight from Debian with no Ubuntu patches. I attached my debdiff:

I think you want -2 revision, it fix an issue with udev rules

Fair enough. Do you need a new diff from me? Well, if it's a sync, I thought it retains the entire debian changelog and control file intact...

For a sync, we take the package unmodified from debian.

Unfortunately I've not the permission to request the sync as the pkg is in main

You can just request the sync and a sponsor will do it for you.
