Bug Description

Binary package hint: libxerces-c-dev

I see that this packages conflicts with libxerces-c2-dev, and libxerces-c2-dev provides the libxerces-depmod.so symbolic lin, but linxerce-c-dev does not.

libxerces-depdom.so -> libxerces-depdom.so.28

It's a packaging bug.

This isn't a bug. xerces-c 3.x doesn't supply libderces-depdom at all. That is the deprecated DOM library, and it was dropped in 3.x. For details, see http://xerces.apache.org/xerces-c/migrate-archive-3.html#Migrateto300
