uyghur letters (in firefox in ubuntu 9.10)

hello
uyghur letters do not work correctly. at least they do not work in firefox in ubuntu 9.10 now, 2010-06-30 , firefox version is 3.5.9.
for example, how http://www.uyghuracademy.org/uyghur/ looks at me:

Thank you for reporting this Ubuntu. Does this work in another browser like Epiphany or Konqueror?

they are not installed and i cannot easily allow myself to install software. let somebody else test it. but let i test terminal. i copy and paste heading - ئۇيغۇر ئاكادېمىيىسى رەسمىي تور بېتى - to terminal and see what happen, also can test open office, and here in textarea it looks different! more correct! some letters has become correct here, i will show.

in terminal it is left to right and so all letters has become separate!

it is correct in open office! but just some parts of some letters are like under other letter and invisible. and may be this correctness can change with changing font, (and invisible parts of letters probably change, indeed, other dejavu ... showed them). it is now correct now with dejavu sans. indeed, with kakcstLetter some letters are incorrect.

i have looked font used in firefox with firebug. it is: 'uyghur',"UKIJ Tuz Tom","ALKATIP ","UKIJ Esliye","ALKATIP Basma Tom","ALKATIP Kitab Tom". i do not know what is really used. there is "computed" tab, but it shows same. so i think i cannot check it also with making modified version of page with javascript to check. i have changed font with firebug to "DejaVu Sans", font has changed, but it has same bug as in gedit and firefox textarea. by the way with kakcstLetter in openoffice that letters are correct but other letters are incorrect.
