youtube plugin error looking up video uri

i have made a clean install of maverick in a VM. if i open totem, select the youtube plug and search i get the following error

Error Looking Up Video URI
Automount failed: mountpoint for org.gtk.vfs.mountpoint.http already running

this is probably the same issue as Bug #487156 , but that has been marked invalid.

there are some interesting messages in .xsessionerrors, so i will attach those.

yes i still see it.

i boot a maverick-desktop-amd64.iso in testdrive (host is lucid, but i dont suppose that makes a difference).
open totem
select youtube plug in
search (eg "muse")
error.

Cannot reproduce, setting this back to new, someone else needs to confirm the bug.

I am sorry, I cannot report my bug properly, I have tried reading the instructions.
Also, I found a bug report, with a fix of this problem, that has not been reviewed and released yet. Or perhaps it is not helpful for other version than lucid, I dont know, bare with me...

you need to follow up in bug 609855 , youtube is broken on maverick.

looks like totem does not even bother to try playing youtube theses days, so i guess this can be closed
