Bug Description
The DHCP Client on the VM Instances set the /etc/resolv.conf on the Instance. Right now it only gets set with the DNS Nameserver specified in the Eucalyptus Conf VNET_DNS value.
It would be good to have another parameter in the Eucalyptus conf file that could set various DHCP Server options. In particular the option domain-search. This would help with the issue that the hostname is set to just the host prefix of the FQDN of the VM Instance. Even if you have set up DNS PTR records for the VM Instances (ether if the CLC finally gets Reverse DNS or using an external Reverse DNS).
It would be good if it just set the option domain-search "eucalyptus.
