Bug Description

Hello,

I was writing a mail through Evolution, I had both the main window and the message’s editing window opened. I tried to retrieve so attachment from the message window and then close only this window, but both opened window closed together. I think Evolution should the composing window opened when one’s close the main’s one. I was glad that when I opened Evolution again I offered me the possibility to restore the previous message I was writing.

I’m using right Lucid.

Hi,

right now I'm on Maverick Alpha and there is a bug: when I close
Evolution with the editing window opened, the main window closes but
the editing one becomes inactive and crashes.
I don't know if it would help, I noticed that when doing it, the
close option in the main window (Ctrl+W) is grayed

@Ngassam Nkwenga : neat! , so its not just me then :)
As its a different bug, we should deal with that in a separate bug.
Could you run a crash debugging for the problem? Please try to obtain a backtrace following the instructions at http://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingProgramCrash and upload the backtrace (as an attachment) to the bug report. This will greatly help us in tracking down the problem.
Once you file the bug , do subscribe me to the new bug too. thanks!
