Bug Description
Binary package hint: gnome-control-
Mainly noticeable un-styled issue in Control Center.
For user first time with Linux - Ubuntu - in Post-Karmic release it would not bother at all, but for Users using Ubuntu Pre-Karmic versions, It seems weird and could actually mislead them as specially in this situation as Quite lot GNOME modules in Lucid is not even 2.30.x, but still 2.28.x ...
Misunderstandings, in first place, would be that they have too old versions, even if they own 2.30.x versioned GNOME modules as only in four components Icons has Lucid style ...
Secondly - the old icons are mainly designed for Human theme, not for new ones - Radience ...
In my humble opinion Lucid-style Icons needs to be added for these modules in:
- Screensaver
- Windows
- Monitors
- Printing
- Network Tools
- System Monitor ( still with 2.28.x )
Icons should have that purple color like Remote Desktop has ...
In general - mostly all icons that has Monitor shape needs new style as person, sitting in front of his computer screen and running Lucid, not older OS, need to know even by looking at icons that they use Lucid, not Pre-Lucid ..
Have not made close look to Meerkat, but this should be fixed for LTS - WITHOUT NO EXCUSES!!!

This isn't a problem with the applications, it's a theme issue if there are missing icons. The theme also won't be changed in Lucid (the time to make changes like that in Lucid passed several months ago)
Please don't open multiple bug tasks like that
