Bug Description

Ubuntu does not use the Gnome/GTK symbolic icons mechanism.

If it did, we would not need separate ubuntu-mono-light, ubuntu-mono-dark, and Humanity icon themes. -symbolic icons would recolor themselves automatically when used on the menu bar and other color-changing backgrounds.
