until the k/ubuntu team release the fix for this bug, anybody who also affected by this bug can follow this:
1 backup xorg.conf with :
sudo cp /etc/X11/xorg.conf /etc/X11/ xorg.conf. backup
2 open nvidia-settings again and choose 'show preview' copy and paste the text temporarily to kate.
3 now open xorg.conf with :
kdesudo kate /etc/X11/xorg.conf
4 replace all text with the one you just get from step 2 and save.
