Bug Description
Binary package hint: apt
Greetings!
Upgrading 9.10->10.04 on 5 IBM blade servers resulted in numerous dependency bugs with lots of reboots required,
freezes, and requests (from apt) to
dpkg --configure -a
run it with the --fix-missing option.
In total took me about 2 days (imagine a happy owner of 1000 blades). Although the clean installation now seems error-free, I had lots of packages and config files I wanted to preserve rather that reinstall/
I am attaching 5 contents of /var/log/

Please disregard the last part of my post pertainng to amd64, since I am reporting a bug from a laptop remotely connected to the blade servers. Besides, filing a bug allows for just one attachment. I add the other 4 by adding comments
