Bug Description
Binary package hint: jetty
'/etc/init.d/jetty restart' fails to restart already running Jetty because of inverted test -- "if start-stop-daemon" should be "if ! start-stop-daemon".

Hi
Thanks for the report, this is fixed in jetty 6.1.24-6, which was uploaded to Debian earlier today. I have requested this version to be sync to Ubuntu Maverick and will hopefully soon be available in Ubuntu as well.
NB: The changelog does not mention this.
