Bug Description
Binary package hint: unity-place-
For instance, in UNE, we are setting it to:
XDG_CONFIG_
and have in menus/ subfolder the attached file applications.menu and settings.menu too hide some tools like "search for files" and "brasero" which doesn't make sense on a netbook.
The applications place seems to not take it into account.

I am thinking that this can probably be solved be adding some appropriate stanzas to the menu file data/unity- place-applicati ons.menu I am installing in /usr/share/ unity/menus. .. How do you do this elsewhere?
