Bug Description

The wireless hotkey on this laptop (Dell Inspiron e1705) can be controlled from the BIOS to control either the wifi the bluetooth or both, and the key combination is fn + F2. No matter what I have the setting in BIOS set to the wireless hotkey will only enable wifi even if it is set to bluetooth only.

Hi Michael,

If you could also please test the latest upstream kernel available that would be great. It will allow additional upstream developers to examine the issue. Refer to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Once you've tested the upstream kernel, please remove the 'needs-upstream-testing' tag. This can be done by clicking on the yellow pencil icon next to the tag located at the bottom of the bug description and deleting the 'needs-upstream-testing' text. Please let us know your results.

Thanks in advance.

I use kernel 2.6.35 as well, and the issue is still present.
