Merge gallery2 2.3.1.dfsg-1 (universe) from Debian unstable (main)

I tried to have this done before FF, but the SRU took longer than expected. This merge will eliminate php 5.3 incompatibilities.

For some reasons, currently we can't do this merge: porthose told me apache2.conf is being removed during the upgrade. Check bug #578137.

Ok got it figured out, will have to do an SRU of gallery2-2.3-1ubuntu4 first, then we can proceed with this merge.

What testing have you done for gallery2? Debian #528115 and #573147 seem to indicate regressions caused by the jar removal. Would be good to also take a look at Debian #564561 when testing.

This bug has been without action for two weeks. Please answer the pending questions and resubscribe ubuntu-release if you still want to try to get this into Maverick.

I've proposed debdiff to merge. However, I saw open bugs due to existing change in gallery2.postinst and I'd like to get Porthose's feedback and fix it. Feel free to adopt debdiff merge.
