mrxvt: can't determine colour: Black

Bug Description

using Dapper Drake, with xorg 7.0, ran all the updates.
Using icewm via a vnc xserver.
When I try to run mrxvt from an xterm window I get the following messages:

mrxvt: can't determine colour: Black
mrxvt: can't determine colour: Black
mrxvt: aborting
